Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) is a protozoan parasite that causes the most curable sexually transmitted infection worldwide. Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) is a sexually transmitted gram-negative bacteria that infects the urinary and genital tracts. TV and MG infections often go unrecognized due to individuals being asymptomatic or having symptoms similar to other infections of the urogenital tract.

In this scientific poster, SeraCare's scientific experts Liam Brandt, Revathi Raman, Dana Ruminski Lowe, Catherine Huang, Eric Morreale, and Bharathi Anekella commence the development of a low positive molecular control for the in vitro diagnostic screening of Trichomonas Vaginalis and Mycoplasma Genitalium, ACCURUN® TV/MG Positive Molecular Control
